Essex Sexual Health Service
Visit the Essex Sexual Health Service website for information and support, and to find a clinic near you. Register on the confidential online portal to:
- book an appointment with a sexual health professional,
- ask for a STI testing kit to be posted to you and see your results online, and
- request free condoms.

Visit your GP
Your GP can provide support and advice on a wide range of sexual health issues including fertility, menopause, contraception and screening for STIs.
Pharmacies
Many large pharmacies offer free emergency contraception, condoms, chlamydia screening and treatment to people who are under the age of 25.
