There was lots of praise for the 13 graduates from the fourth cohort we have had come through this programme as they presented their service improvement projects over two online sessions. The projects were a result of six months of hard work and dedication learning new skills and knowledge to help with their career progression.
Over the two days, participants heard from two guest speakers, and received ‘virtual’ certificates. On day one, Jeneva Allison, Deputy Director of People at Whipps Cross Hospital, shared her leadership journey and top tips for success, saying “I like to empower and inspire people to follow their dreams and to be the best they can.”
Our Chief Executive Dr Jane Halpin spoke on day two and said: “Don’t be the person that holds you back. Be the person that takes you forward and grows yourself and takes control and ownership of your own roles and careers going forward.”
The ICDP brings together health and social care colleagues to support them in their career aspirations and open up more opportunities for their future.
