If you’re a football enthusiast living in Watford, don’t miss your chance to join the Hornets Together event at Vicarage Road Stadium on 23 September. The event is aimed at raising awareness about high blood pressure and will end with an exciting tour around the grounds.
Having high blood pressure (hypertension) increases your risk of heart attack and stroke, and also of conditions such as kidney disease and heart failure. It often has no symptoms which is why it’s so important to have it checked regularly.
This event, organised by Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust in collaboration with the local NHS, offers you the chance to have your blood pressure measured. Get advice from GPs and be guided through simple activities designed to help you manage or reduce your blood pressure.
The event takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and will end with an exciting tour of the iconic Vicarage Road Stadium.
If you’re 40 years or older and have not had your blood pressure checked by a health professional in the last six months, sign up using this form.
