15 October is National Pharmacy Technician Day.
Pharmacy Technician Day is a special opportunity to recognise the crucial contributions that Pharmacy Technicians make across Hertfordshire and west Essex, enhancing patient care and safety as key members of our healthcare system.
In a range of local healthcare settings, Pharmacy Technicians play a visible and vital role in ensuring the safe handling of medications, directly impacting patient outcomes. Whether in care homes, GP practices, hospitals, or community pharmacies, their dedication makes a real difference in people’s lives across our region.
Jodie White regularly attends events celebrating the role of Pharmacy Technicians and encourages others to join the ranks. She is pictured here (on the right) with two pre-registration pharmacy technicians promoting the role of a pharmacy technician at the Future Heroes event at Herts uni.
