NHS 111 is for urgent health concerns or if you don’t know where to get help.
You can use NHS 111 by:
- calling 111 (a free phone number)
- visiting the website (for people aged 5 and over)
- using the NHS App
NHS 111 can tell you what to do and get you:
- help for your symptoms or injury
- dental help
- mental health help
- help with an existing medical condition
- a prescription or information on medicines
Information:
NHS 111 online will not give you a diagnosis, but we will direct you to the best place to get help for your symptoms. You could get a callback from a nurse, be referred to other services, be directed how to look after your symptoms at home or be reassured that there is no need to worry but to contact your GP practice when open.
