The Essex Wellbeing Service (EWS) is a free service that helps people get support with a wide range of issues, from money worries to loneliness. It puts people in contact with a range of organisations that provide support, social activities, advice and more.
Anyone aged 16 and above can contact EWS by phone or email. Staff will take time to understand your problems or concerns, and then put you in touch with organisations that can provide support.
Essex Wellbeing Service tries to provide help with any problem, including:
- Stop smoking
- Getting more active
- Loneliness
- Mental health issues
- Drinking less
- Sleep problems
- Weight management
- Support for carers
It also helps people looking to get involved in their communities, by putting volunteers together with local organisations that need help.
